Access Points
If you are homeless or at risk of homelessness you need to contact an Access Point.
Each region has a centralised intake service for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. These are called Access Points.
The Access Point will complete an assessment and then, depending on your needs, can assist you to access crisis accommodation and support services. The Access Points are able to refer to any refuge vacancies and also have funding for emergency accommodation if needed.
Wombat Housing is a support service and referrals for the majority of our programs can only be made by our local Access Point: Unison Housing. When there is a vacancy within one of our support programs, we advise our Access Point (Unison) and they send through suitable referrals.
The statewide 24 hour phone number for Access Points is:
Ph: 1800 825 955
Alternatively you can contact your local Access Point directly.
