It’s a good idea to add a cover letter with your application to introduce yourself to the agent/house share.  It adds a personal touch to your application and provides information that is relevant to your application.

The main areas of interest to a potential house sharer or landlord is:  

• You can & will consistently pay your rent
• You will look after the property
• You won’t cause issues for them or the neighbours
