Wombat Housing and Support Services provides services to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in the inner North-West of Melbourne. Access points aim to make it easier for people to access and navigate the homelessness service system, allowing for better prioritisation of resources. If you are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of homelessness, you can access our programs through our Access Point.
Following the implementation of the Opening Doors Framework, Wombat is no longer able to take requests for its support programs directly. All referrals must come through the Access Point (excluding direct referrals to the SHASP and SFaR programs).
Access Point: Inner-west
Wombat falls within the inner-west region. The access point for this region is, Unison. Unison will complete assessment and if deemed appropriate, and a vacancy exists, the individual or family will be referred to a suitable program at Wombat
Access Point: Melbourne's CBD
The CBD Access Point for young people aged 25 years and under is Frontyard Youth Services.
Access Point: Greater Melbourne
